KBA Africa

KBA Africa is an African Business Incubation organisation specialising in accelerating the growth and increasing the success rate of start-up and early stage Small and Medium Enterprises.

The KBA Africa Business incubator programme helps develop and support current and new entrepreneurs to start-up businesses and equip them for survival, longevity and growth as sustainable businesses. The business incubator target group includes small entrepreneurs that want to grow, new businesses and those who would like to develop their ideas and commercialise them.  This programme aims to provide entrepreneur support activities that are necessary for SMEs to increase their contribution to their economy and enable them to transition to having stable businesses.

 

 

The KBA Africa Business Incubation Programme seeks to provide entrepreneurs with pro-active value-added support, and access to critical tools, information, training, resources and capital that might otherwise be inaccessible or unknown. KBA Africa’s Model of Excellence in business support and incubation provides assistance to SMEs through a unique combination of support and technical and financial services designed to help SMEs survive and thrive through the vulnerable early stages of business development. KBA Africa’s goal is to identify business ideas that can potentially produce successful companies that will leave the incubation programme as financially viable entities.

KBA has set out to balance the deficit in the local market with the continuing trends on the global market in order to help businesses become more competent.

Kojo helps steward his, and elements of the Mandela family, investment portfolio. He is chairman of A4e Africa and the founder in 2008 of African Social Entrepreneurs Network (ASEN), founding CEO of Social Private Equity South Africa, a director of Operation Hope & the KBA Group.

Yona Banda is a career banker with more than twenty years of hands on experience in the Zimbabwe financial services sectors and capital markets at senior management and Director Level. His professional career incorporates proven technical skills in investment appraisal, corporate finance and investment/fund management. He possess a strong background and hands on experience in business strategy formulation and implementation.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Agnes Hove Chiweshe is a business strategist who has worked in numerous blue chip companies in South Africa and Zimbabwe. She has been a consultant for over fifteen years and has experience in Strategy Formulation and implementation, Business Process Improvement, IT Strategy Formulation, Project Management, Staff Training and staff development. Agnes is committed to unlocking the intrinsic value found within organizations through the creation of a strategic vision.

Darren Goneke has experience in events management and administration. He recently obtained his Diploma in Tourism Management.
